Matte white soap dish
A round soap dish in matte white glaze. It was hand thrown, glazed in multiple layers and fired at 1250ºc.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
Designed with both form and function in mind, the raised edges of the dish keep your soap securely in place, preventing any unwanted slippage. The ample size ensures that it accommodates a variety of soap shapes and sizes, making it versatile for use with your favorite bar soaps, artisanal creations, or even decorative guest soaps.
Beyond its aesthetic charm, the stoneware ceramic construction ensures long-lasting durability. Resistant to chips and cracks, this soap dish is built to withstand the rigors of daily use.
