Celadon vase, Tides
A tall stoneware ceramic vase ‘Tides’ in Celadon blue. This vessel was hand thrown, , hand carved, glazed in several layers, and fired at 1250ºc.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
Each ceramic is unique and one of a kind.
