Hakeme incense holder

This round incense holder features Hakeme, a traditional Japanese white slip decoration applied with a hake brush on black clay. It was hand-thrown, hand-brushed, and fired at 1230ºC.

Inspired by the rugged landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, it blends my Japanese heritage with the natural textures of the countryside.

The soft curves and hand-applied, flowing lines give the piece a quiet sense of movement, inviting a moment of stillness and reflection.

Each holder is individually handmade, with subtle variations that make every one unique.

FEATURES:
• Approx size: D 13.5cm H 4cm
• Colour: White, Black
• Handmade in the UK
• Food safe glazes
• Dishwasher, microwave safe, although a hand wash is recommended for longevity
• Avoid extreme changes in temperature, as it could cause your ceramics to crack
