Misty forest bowl
A stoneware ceramic bowl in Misty forest green. It was hand thrown, glazed in several layers, and fired at 1250ºc. Each piece is one of a kind, since two different glazes are used to be melted together in the kiln.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
D 13cm H 7.5cm
• Colour: Beige, green
• Handmade in the UK
• Food safe glazes
• Dishwasher, microwave safe, although a hand wash is recommended for longevity
• Avoid extreme changes in temperature, as it could cause your ceramic to crack
