Ocean blue plate
Triple glazed stoneware ceramic plate in ocean blue. It was hand thrown and fired at 1250ºc. Each piece is one of a kind, since three different glazes are used to be melted together in the kiln for the ‘ocean wave’ effect.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
• Approx size: D 17.5cm H 2.5cm

• Dishwasher, microwave safe, although a hand wash is recommended for longevity
• Avoid extreme changes in temperature, as it could cause your ceramic to crack
