Ocean wave bowl II
Hand brushed stoneware ceramic bowl in matte white x blue. It was hand thrown and fired at 1250ºc.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
The delicate wave patterns are applied by hand, creating a unique and captivating design that captures the essence of the ocean's beauty. The subtle curves and dynamic lines of the waves add a touch of elegance and movement to the bowl.
