Sky blue cup
A stoneware ceramic cup in Sky blue glaze. It was hand thrown, glazed in several layers, and fired at 1250ºc.
Available in 2 sizes. The small one (D 6cm H 6.5cm, capacity 100ml) is perfect for espresso, and the large one (D 7.5cm H 8cm, capacity 180ml) is for flat white. It can be also used as a sake cup or a tea cup.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
Each ceramic is unique and one of a kind.
