Sky blue vase I
A tall stoneware ceramic vase in Sky blue glaze. It was hand thrown and fired at 1250ºc.
Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, it was handcrafted locally in Harrogate. Each piece intertwines my Japanese heritage and countryside surroundings to create patterns and glazes which mimic organic textures.
The handmade nature of this ceramic vase ensures that no two pieces are identical.
